Terms of service
The agreement between bebonium and the organisations that use it.
Last updated: 31 October 2026
About these terms
These terms are an agreement between bebonium (“we”, “us”), an online survey service run from Chennai, Tamil Nadu, India, and the organisation that signs up for it (“you”). By creating an account or using bebonium, you accept these terms on behalf of your organisation and confirm that you are allowed to do so. If you don't accept them, don't use bebonium.
Our Privacy policy and our Refund and cancellation policy are part of these terms.
Your account
You must be at least 18 and give us accurate details. Keep passwords, sign-in codes and the Google or Microsoft account you sign in with to yourself. You are responsible for everything done through your organisation's account, including by the teammates you add and by anyone your company domain lets join, and for removing access when someone leaves.
Tell us straight away at support@bebonium.com if you think someone has used your account without permission.
Plans and payment
Every organisation starts on the free plan, which has usage limits. Paid plans, their prices and their limits are shown on our pricing page and in Billing in the app. We may change the free plan's limits; a lower limit never removes anything you already have.
Payments are made through Razorpay. How payment, auto-renew, cancellation and refunds work is set out in our Refund and cancellation policy. We may change prices; a new price applies only to purchases made after the change. Prices don't include GST because bebonium is not registered for GST; if that changes, any tax will be shown before you pay.
When a paid plan ends and isn't renewed, your organisation moves to the free plan. Nothing you already have is deleted, and existing surveys keep collecting responses, but the free plan's limits apply to anything new.
Your data
Your surveys, your people and their responses belong to you. You allow us to store and process them only to provide bebonium to you, as described in our Privacy policy. You can download all of your organisation's data from the app at any time.
You are responsible for the data you put into bebonium and the surveys you send. In particular, you must: have a lawful basis — such as consent — to add each person and send them surveys, and tell them how their data will be used; send invitations only to people who have a relationship with your organisation, and stop contacting anyone who asks you to; ask only for what you need, and take extra care with health or other sensitive information, including getting written consent where the law requires it; get verifiable consent from a parent or legal guardian before surveying anyone under 18; and keep the promise a survey makes to respondents — never try to identify the people who answered an anonymous survey.
Keep your own copy of anything important by downloading your data export regularly. We work hard to keep your data safe, but we can't promise to recover data that is lost.
Acceptable use
Don't use bebonium to: break the law or anyone's rights; send spam or unsolicited bulk messages; impersonate anyone or mislead people about who is running a survey; collect passwords, card or bank details, or government ID numbers such as Aadhaar; harass people or publish hateful or abusive content; upload malicious code; or infringe anyone's copyright or trademarks.
Don't try to get around plan limits or security measures, access another organisation's data, overload the service, or copy, resell or reverse-engineer bebonium without our written permission. If you find a security issue, please report it to support@bebonium.com — we welcome responsible reports.
Our service
We work to keep bebonium available, secure and working well, but we provide it “as is” and “as available”: we don't guarantee that it will always be available or free of errors. We sometimes need to take it offline briefly for maintenance.
We improve bebonium all the time and may change or remove features. If we remove a feature that is part of a paid plan you are using, we will tell you in advance.
Our support team works on your surveys only inside a support window that your organisation opens, and only for as long as it is open. Every action they take is recorded in your activity log.
Suspension and closing your account
You can stop using bebonium at any time. To turn off auto-renew, use Billing in the app. To close your organisation's account and delete its data, write to us at support@bebonium.com: we delete the data 30 days after closing the account, so download anything you want to keep first.
We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or the law, puts other people or the service at risk, or where the law requires us to. Where it is reasonable, we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix the problem. If we close an account for any other reason, we will give you at least 30 days' notice and refund the unused part of any paid period.
Our intellectual property
bebonium's software, design, name and logo belong to us. These terms give you the right to use bebonium for your organisation while your account is open — nothing more. If you send us feedback or ideas, we may use them without owing you anything.
Liability
As far as the law allows, we are not liable for any indirect or consequential loss, or for loss of profits, revenue, business, goodwill or data.
As far as the law allows, our total liability to you for everything relating to bebonium is limited to the amount you paid us for bebonium in the 12 months before the event the claim is about.
Nothing in these terms limits liability that can't be limited under Indian law.
Indemnity
If someone makes a claim against us because of your surveys, the data you put into bebonium, or your breach of these terms or the law — for example, surveying people without a lawful basis — you will cover the losses and reasonable costs this causes us.
Changes to these terms
We will publish any change on this page with a new date. If a change significantly affects you, we will tell your organisation's admins by email or in the app at least 14 days before it takes effect. If you keep using bebonium after that, you accept the new terms; if you don't accept them, you can close your account.
Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. If a dispute arises, write to us first at support@bebonium.com and we will try to settle it with you in good faith. If we can't, the courts at Chennai, Tamil Nadu, have exclusive jurisdiction.
General
These terms, with the policies they refer to, are the whole agreement between you and us about bebonium. If any part is found unenforceable, the rest still applies. If we don't enforce a right straight away, we haven't given it up. You may not transfer your account to someone else without our agreement. Neither of us is responsible for delays caused by events outside our reasonable control.
We send notices to the email address of your organisation's admins. Send yours to support@bebonium.com.
