Frequently asked questions

What is bebonium?

bebonium is a survey platform for organisations that want honest feedback from customers and employees. You build surveys, send them by email or SMS, and read the results on favourability dashboards — with confidentiality enforced throughout.

Which survey types can I run?

Net Promoter Score (0–10), Customer Satisfaction (1–5), Customer Effort (1–7), General Feedback (1–5) and Freestyle, where you design every scale yourself. Any survey can also include custom scales, single and multiple choice, and free-text questions.

Is there a free plan?

Yes. Every new organisation starts on the free plan, with every survey type and no time limit. Its limits and features are shown on our pricing page. No card is needed — just sign up with your organisation's details.

What happens when we outgrow the free plan?

Buy a plan from Billing in the app whenever you need higher limits or paid features. Nothing is lost when you move up: existing surveys stay readable, manageable and keep collecting responses.

How much does bebonium cost?

Every plan has every survey type, and there's a free plan — plans differ in usage limits and a few features. See the pricing page for each plan and what it includes. You can buy a plan online from Billing in the app — with UPI, a card or netbanking, one period at a time or with auto-renew. For a custom plan or to pay by invoice, talk to us.

What's the difference between confidential and anonymous surveys?

Confidential surveys can be filtered and compared by fields such as department, while any group below your minimum size stays hidden and nobody sees whose answers are whose. Anonymous surveys never link a response to a person at all, so results show the overall picture, question groups and drivers only.

Can managers see what an individual person answered?

No. bebonium never shows which answers belong to which person. Groups smaller than the minimum size are hidden, and the list of individual responses stays locked until a survey has enough of them.

Which languages are supported?

English, Arabic, Tamil and Hindi. A survey can offer any of your organisation's languages; respondents switch between them on the same link, and Arabic is shown right-to-left.

Does it work on phones?

Yes. The survey page is designed for phones first, and you can show one question at a time for a focused experience on a small screen.

Can a survey skip questions based on earlier answers?

Yes. Show a question or a whole group only when earlier answers call for it, or end the survey early — for example, ask detractors a follow-up that promoters never see. You can also shuffle answer options, the questions in a group, or the order of the groups for each respondent.

Can the survey page carry our logo and colours?

Yes. Each survey can have its own logo, button colour, background, text colour and corner style, with a live preview. Colours that would be hard to read are flagged and can’t be saved, so the page stays readable for everyone. Which plans include your own branding is shown on our pricing page.

Can I tell when people rush through a survey?

Yes. Every response records how long each question and the whole survey took — as durations, never times of day. You can also turn on a slow-down check that asks people to take a moment, with a short pause or a message, when they answer too many questions too quickly.

Can I share the results as a report?

Yes. Download a designed PDF report for any published survey, with an executive summary, drivers, a heatmap, every question, comments and an action plan. It follows the same filters and confidentiality rules as your results, and a survey that’s still open gets an interim report. Which plans include the PDF report is shown on our pricing page.

Can I import questions and people from a spreadsheet?

Yes. Both have downloadable Excel and CSV templates. Questions are added to your draft for review before anything is saved; people are created or updated, with every problem reported by row.

Can bebonium sync people from our HR system?

Yes, on a paid plan. Connect BambooHR, Keka, greytHR, Darwinbox, Zoho People, ZenHR, Jisr or Workday and press “Sync now”: you see every new person, change and leaver before anything is saved. Only the details your audience needs are read — never salary, bank details or national ID numbers. Spreadsheet imports work on every plan.

How do invitations reach people?

By email, SMS or both, using your saved templates. Each person gets a personal link that works once, and you can send reminders to people who haven't responded. You can also share one open link.

Can your support team see our data?

Only when you let them. An admin opens a support window for 1, 4, 24 or 72 hours and can close it at any time. Inside it, support can work on surveys but can't read responses or touch your team — and everything they do appears in your activity log.

Can we sign in with Google or Microsoft?

Yes. Sign in or sign up with a Google or Microsoft account whose email address the provider has verified — there's no password or code to type. bebonium asks only for your name and email address, and a session started this way ends after 24 hours. Signing in with your email and password works as before.

How do colleagues join our organisation instead of starting a new one?

Invite them from the Team page, or claim your company's email domain. Then anyone who signs up with an address on that domain, and proves it, is offered your organisation. By default they ask to join and an admin decides; you can let them join automatically instead. Nobody learns that your organisation uses bebonium unless they own an address on your domain.

Can I send results to other tools, or put a survey on my own website?

Yes, on a paid plan. A results webhook posts a survey's results — never individual responses or comments — to your address when it closes, and optionally once a day while it's live. You can also list the sites allowed to show your surveys and embed a survey's open link with a ready-made code. Neither is included in the free plan.
