Distribution & people

Reach the right people, on the channel they actually read

Keep one audience organised by the fields your organisation uses, then launch by email and SMS with a personal one-time link for each person — or share a single open link.

Distribution & people

  1. One audience, organised your way

Each person has a name, an email address or phone number, and an optional external ID. Add up to 20 grouping fields — department, region, site, tenure — each with a managed list of values, so the data stays clean enough to compare.

    • Rename a value once and it changes for everyone who has it
    • Answers already given keep the value they had at the time
    • Name each field and its values in your organisation’s other languages, too
  2. Import from Excel or CSV

Download a template built for your organisation's own fields, with dropdowns for every managed list. Import up to 10,000 people per file: existing people are updated, matched by external ID, email or phone.

    • You see every new person and every change before anything is saved
    • Phone numbers are read in your country's format and validated
    • Every problem is reported by row, so fixing a file is quick
  3. Sync people from your HR system

On a paid plan, connect the HR system you already use and press “Sync now”: new joiners are added, changes are updated, and people who have left can be marked inactive. You review every change before it's saved, and nothing syncs on its own.

    • Connect BambooHR, Keka, greytHR, Darwinbox, Zoho People, ZenHR, Jisr or Workday (Jisr and Workday are in beta)
    • Only what your audience needs is read — names, IDs, work contact details, dates and fields such as department. Salary, bank details, national ID numbers and birth dates are never brought in
    • The credentials you give us are stored encrypted and never shown again
  4. Launch to everyone, a slice, or the people who haven't answered

Send to your whole audience, to people matching grouping-field filters, to people you pick by hand, or as a reminder to everyone who hasn't responded yet.

    • People who already responded are always left out — their link is used up
    • Before you send, the review shows how many people the launch will reach
  5. Saved message templates for email and SMS

Write your invitation once and reuse it. Templates can include the person's name, the survey title, your organisation's name and their personal link.

  6. Personal links and open links

A personal link works once, for one person — so participation can be counted without asking anyone to sign in. An open share link lets anyone answer, no sign-in needed.

    • The key in every survey link sits after the #, the part browsers never send to a server
    • The survey page removes it from the address bar as soon as it opens
  7. Track participation, not people

See how many people you invited, how many responded and your response rate. For each invitation you see whether that person has responded — never when, and never which answers are theirs.

    • Each launch shows whether it’s queued, sending or sent — and warns you when nothing went out
  8. Show a survey on your own website or intranet

On a paid plan, list the sites that may show your surveys and copy a ready-made embed code for any survey's open link. The survey appears inside your page, in your branding, and the frame sizes itself to fit.

    • Only the sites you list can show it — anywhere else the survey refuses to load
    • Personal one-time links are never embedded; they stay with the person they were sent to
    • Paid plans only — not in the free plan
